Nokia 5.3 started receiving Android 11 in Multiple Markets

Nokia has started rolling out Android 11 update for Nokia 5.3. Nokia 5.3 was released last year on April 2020 with Android 10 out of the box. And as its a Nokia phone its in Android One program which promises Minimum 2 Year OS updates and 3 Year security updates. Since its the First Major update Nokia 5.3 is eligible for Android 12 which is slanted to release on September for Pixel devices.


The current roll out arrives with build number V2.210. As Nokia provide very stock experience most of the changes are according to Stock Android 11. And the update also includes June Security patch. And as usual the update is rolling out in batches. The first batch is rolling out in Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan and Vietnam. And as usual with Nokia the update even in this countries are rolling out in batches. That Means some users will get update immediately while others will get in coming weeks. 

As usual always Backup important files before updates for a peace of mind.

To check update manually go to Settings > System Update > Check.
