Android 12 Eligibility :
Oppo A74 5G, initially released in April 2021 came with Color OS 11.1 based on Android 11. Oppo recently announced that Oppo A Series will get Minimum 1 Major Update and 3 Year Security update with some selected models also getting 2 Major updates. And as it is the First Major Update Oppo A74 5G is officially Eligible for Color OS 12 based on Android 12 update. As Android 12 was released in October 2021 Oppo has already announced its Release schedule. And From Oppo’s Official Twitter – Beta update for Oppo A74 5G is going to release on December 28th in India and Indonesia. Stable updates to All countries will be followed soon usually in a Month after Beta Release.

The Stable Android 12 Update is already ongoing rollout for Oppo A74 5G in multiple countries. As usual, Oppo generally releases updates in batches, and rollout differs by region. So if you didn’t receive the update yet it should be rolling out in the coming weeks.
