Poco has started rolling out Android 11 update for Poco X3 Indian Version. Poco X3 was released last year on September 2020 with MIUI 12 on top of Android 10. And its the first major update. Poco X3 NFC which is different version that sold globally already got the Android 11 update way back in March so its almost 5 Months later the Indian version is getting the same update. Interestingly the New update has same MIUI 12 version so the update will be mostly under the hood. Although Poco will be releasing MIUI 12.5 later on.
The current roll out arrives with build number ‘V12.0.2.0.RJGINXM’. It is currently rolling out in Batches. Therefore if you did not receive the update no need to worry. It should be rolled out to everyone in coming weeks. The current changes are mostly under the hood. And we expect MIUI 12.5 to be released very soon maybe in coming weeks itself. MIUI 12.5 should have many changes that users can notice.
As usual always Backup important files before updates for a peace of mind.
To check update manually goto Settings > System Update > Check.
