Windows 11 is out for a couple of months. But because of Microsoft approach of continuous updates rather than releasing full updates in a single go it have Many designs and functions that still didn’t get any design change. And one of the most criticized was Hardware indicator flyout like Brightness, Volume etc which didn’t get any update even windows 10.
Current stable design is one from Windows 8 which was released nearly a decade ago at this point. And Now Windows is finally getting the new redesigned Flyout. The updated the flyout design for the hardware indicators for brightness, volume, camera privacy, camera on/off and airplane mode, will now align with Windows 11 design principles. These new flyouts will appear when you press the volume or brightness keys on your laptop and will honor light/dark mode to give you a more coherent Windows experience. Brightness and volume indicators continue to be interactive with the update.
The Current update is only releasing on Developer Channel. It will be soon followed to Beta Channel. And stable update will most likely happen in October or November when Microsoft usually updates Major update starting with Windows 11. Check out what’s new is latest developer built here.
